WW - Rolex Oyster Perpetual, ref 6085, circa 1953, 34mm x 40mm to lug tips, 19mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case with rose gold engine turned bezel, later two-tone rose and stainless steel riveted Oyster bracelet signed Rolex, fabulous refinished glossy black dial with applied rose gold indices, 18J, s#855731, triple signed, inside back ref 6085.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, light oxide to steelwork, light plating loss to brass on edge of rotor and some of the plates, light spotting on the plates; nearly flawless refinished dial with very light surface spotting; excellent rose dauphine hands; polished case shows little wear, light dings on the insides of the lugs from being worn on a bracelet; bracelet shows light wear, links have been refinished and tightened, later replacement Rolex signed crown shows very little wear, excellent threads; good crystal; resealed for auction.
